This was Todd's 2nd full power meet post injury, and he had really set the bar high in his comeback meet. The man showed up in a big way going 600/474/661, 1736 total, and a 512 DOTS. Our primary goal here was to not get hurt and get his qualifying total for Nationals. This man went ahead and won the 90kg weight class, Best Overall Lifter, and gott his full power pro card!

Squat - 3/3 - 272.5 / 600 best. This was a nice 7.5kg PR for Todd. He's been gunning for that 600 squat for a long time. The man just executed. Huge W after a rough adductor injury.
Bench - 2/3 - 215/474 best. We were being conservative here due to a nagging triceps injury and Bench Worlds was just 2 weeks after this meet. 474 usually moves like a 7-7.5, but not today. It was closer to a 9. Todd and his handler made the call to scratch the 3rd. That was the right call. All eyes on Worlds.
Deadlift - 2/3 - 300/661 best. Todd started dealing with an annoying glute strain after his opener. It made the 2nd a little rougher than normal. We knew we already secured the weight class and overall win, so we just went for 320/705 for his 3rd anyway. It didn't move like it did at his previous meet, but it was a valiant attempt.

Great overall day for Todd. 2026 will be huge for him.
