STRONGMAN CORP NORTHEAST REGIONALS RECAP
Congratulations to Final Form athlete Charles for placing 2nd in the Men's Open HW division at NE Regionals and earning his place at SC Nationals.
The day started off with his toughest event which was log clean & press for reps at 300lbs. He ended up with 2 reps which set him behind. It was on after that. Next event was a deadlift AMRAP at 675lbs. Back at The Arnold Charles had an RPE 10 grind for 1 @ 675. During this event, just several months later, he pulled it for 5 which got him 3rd. Then we had sandbag toss, where Charles came in at a strong 2nd place getting all the bags over the bar except the 55 (no one got that bag over). Then we had a 300lb Husafell sandbag carry for distance, and Charles came in 3rd with 189 feet. The last event was the Zamboni push and pull, and he again came in 2nd place and only 1 solid second behind the 1st place time. His placings: 7th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd which earned him 2nd place overall! Final Form strongmen keep showing up and making a name for themselves.
