Massive congratulations to Final Form athlete, Brian Hennes, for winning the 2025 Men's Open Strongman Corp Nationals in Las Vegas back in September. On top of that he was awarded his pro card. It was an absolute battle until the very last event where Brian put on an insane performance with kegs and won overall by just 1 point. Huge shoutout to teammate Yony Bustos (who placed 6th overall in the 120s!) and handler/gameday coach/girlfriend Emma Welker. They helped ensure Brian was ready to perform his best each event and then hyped him up all the way through.

Event 1 - Overhead - Brian ended up with a respectable 415. We needed points here, and he got them.
Event 2 - Deadlift Medley - Brian knocked out 3 reps 640lb deadlift bar, then 2 reps on the 700lb axle. We decided ahead of time to not go for the 950 silver dollar and just get the best split time for the axle. He did just that.
Event 3 - Hoist - Brian told me he was going to win this event before hand. He won it handedly with an insane time of 10.1 seconds.
Event 4 - Circus DB for reps - There was a 175 CDB and 220lb CDB. We made the decision before hand to just get more reps than everyone else with the 175lb CDB. He did just that getting 7 reps. This kept him in 3rd place going into the last two events.
Event 5 - Frame carry - Brian managed to carry the 650lb frame 205 feet which was good enough for 2nd place and bumped him up to 1st place in the standings.
Event 6 - Keg load for reps - I'm not sure who worked harder during this event: Brian or Emma and Yony. Emma and Yony took their energy to another level pushing Brian to dig deep. I think it worked, because Brian got 9 reps. That tied him for 1st place in the event, and secured the overall win and his pro card!
